What does “perpetual” mean?
A Pro license does not run out. You keep using the version you have.
What is the 12-month update window, and how does renewal work?
A Pro license comes with 12 months of updates. After that you keep using your version. Renewal adds another year of updates, at {{PRO_RENEWAL_PRICE}}.
What happens when the trial ends? Coming soon
The 14-day Pro trial will start at first launch, work fully offline and need no account or card. When it ends, the app drops back to Free. Server connections are never blocked and everything in Free keeps working; only the Pro tools stop.
Which safety features are free?
All of them. Safety is never paywalled. See Safety and privacy.
How is Pro licensed?
Per named user. The full terms are in the EULA.
Do I need an account or an internet connection to activate? Coming soon
No. Activation will be offline: paste a key or open a license file. The key is stored in the OS keychain, and no account is needed.
What does the source code purchase include?
For $5,000 you receive the SQL Sleuth source code under a source license, for use within your company. No license keys or seats are needed, because a documented build option unlocks Pro in a source build. Third-party notices are included.
Not included: signing keys and credentials, official SQL Sleuth updates for builds from source, and support. The terms are in the source license{{SOURCE_LICENSE_URL}}.
Can you modify SQL Sleuth for us?

What about taxes and refunds?
These are set out in the refund policy{{REFUND_POLICY_URL}} and the terms of sale, both to be supplied by counsel.
